Hi everyone! Today I was busy baking cupcakes. There was a little bit of crafting involved so I decided to share them with you. And I’m pretty sure everyone likes cupcakes. At least everyone around here does!
My son’s school has what is called a Cake Walk a few times a year to help raise money for the school. Here’s how it works; whoever wants to, can bake a cake, cupcakes or some other kind of goodie and donate it to the school. Each child is allowed to purchase tickets for the walk and on the day of the event they go look at all the donated yummies and put their ticket(s) in a corresponding bag for a chance to win that dessert.
The theme this time around is spring or Earth Day so I iced the cupcakes to look like grass. I then cut out little animal paw print cupcake wrappers using my Life’s A Party Cricut Cartridge and some K&Company green patterned paper. I’ve had the little ladybug stickers hanging around my craft room for quite a while so I taped them onto toothpicks and stuck them into the top of each cupcake. Cute as a cupcake! Haha.
As you know, I also have a few birthdays this weekend so I made these as well…
Nothing fancy about these but pink and purple icing with a cherry on top has my kids eyeballing them and asking when they can eat one. So there you have it. I guess I better make sure I go to my exercise classes this week since I’m sure to be indulging in a cupcake or two! Have a sweet day and happy crafting!
