Flowers & Lace

Standard

Hello paper crafting friends!  I just found out today that I actually won the My Time Made Easy‘s Pretty Palette Challenge this month!  Yahoo!  I feel so fortunate to be picked out of all the talented people who enter their gorgeous creations.  Thank you MTME!

My daughter and I made this card together the other day for one of the girls I babysit after school.  She will be turning 8 on Sunday and loves all things pink and lacy.  So does my daughter come to think of it, so it’s no wonder this is what transpired.

I have a stash of die cuts and flowers that I make for cards but don’t end up using and this is what we went to for this card.  I wanted to make this easy because my daughter is 4 and her attention span is somewhat limited.  She picked the background paper and all the elements that went on the card.

She was very specific about the colours to be used and of course it had to have purple gems!  The only thing I really helped with was the layout and the gluing.  Hmmm – I may have passed on some crafty genes!

Lucky for me it’s been a crafty week and it’s not over yet, so stay tuned for some Mother’s Day and feminine birthday cards.  Have a great day everyone.  Happy crafting!

About papercraftnut

I am a working mom of two great kids and married to a wonderful man who is very supportive of my paper crafting addiction! I discovered paper crafts while organizing birthday parties for my kids. It was so fun to make the invitations, decorations and loot bags. The fun hasn't stopped and now I LOVE anything paper!
