Lamp Post-It Note Holder

Standard

Happy Labour Day!  I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend.  I have a Post-It Note holder which I am entering into the Out of a Hat Challenge this week.  The challenge is to make something using your favourite technique or product.  Well, you all know I love my Cricut so that is what I am showcasing on this project.I thought it would be fun to use this lamp post stamp (from La Belle Vie Workshop On The Go Kit) as a Post-It Note holder.  I stamped it with Versamark onto white card stock and then heat embossed it with black embossing powder and my heat tool.  I then coloured it in with Copic markers and cut it out.  The sign holder was cut using the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge. All the paper flowers were cut out using the Artiste cartridge as well, and I used a few buttons and bobbles to embellish them.To make the backing board a bit sturdier I glued my patterned paper to a piece of cardboard I cut from some packaging.  Most of the paper is from the CTMH La Belle Vie Paper Packet.   After gluing everything onto the background, I added the pearls and ribbon to the lamp post and stamped the Ooh la la onto the front page of the note pad.  Too bad it’s only on the front!  I like the overall effect it has on the project.

Enjoy your day and happy crafting!
