Witchy Ways

Standard

Hi, and welcome to another My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge!  This week the featured colours are saffron, orchid and navy.  A really pretty combination, which you could do just about anything with.

I decided to use these colours on a Halloween card.  Maybe not quite as traditional as orange, purple and black, but certainly not a big stretch either!I created my own witchy Halloween scene by using the Hauntingly Homemade Labels  and Happy Camping digital stamp sets.  Once I finished that, I printed out 2 copies, then cut the moon and clouds out and popped them up over the other copy.  I gave the witch a little sparkle with a clear sparkle gel pen.The patterned papers are from the Amethyst Sparkle digital paper pack.  You really can’t go wrong with digital paper (unless you don’t have a computer and printer!).  It is so inexpensive and all you have to do is print it out.  Even better still, if you are a little bit computer savvy, you can change the colours with a photo editor to suite your needs. Here I paired it up with a cauldron that I made with the MTME Grab a Cup template, which is actually a teacup.  Instead of using the base, I put little wooden beads on the bottom as feet and left the handle off.

So here are the Pretty Palette details:

You can use the palette on ANY type of project!  While participation with products from My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is appreciated, it is not required to participate. You can use products from ANY company.  Every other week we will pick a winner from the palette participants, and announce them the following week, when the next Pretty Palette Challenge is announced.  This month’s contest began Thursday, August 9th. Contest ends Wednesday, October 3rd. Winner announced Thursday, October 4th.  PRIZE PACKAGE: Whoever plays along  in Palette Challenges #68, 69, 70, and 71, will be entered to win a Pretty Package of THEIR Choice!

What can you do with these colours?  We can’t wait to see!  Link up your pictures from your blog or photo webhosting site and show off your creations.  Maybe you’ll be the next winner.  Have a great day everyone and happy crafting!

  1. Love your spooky card and your cauldron is a great idea. I love the witch flying across the moon. My 3 year is so into anything to do with halloween at the moment she will love this. I may have to make some cauldrons for her and her little friends. Thanks for the inpsiration. x
