One last exciting bit of news… the very talented and hard working owner of My Time Made Easy, Lauren Meader, has a chance to have her products carried in Walmart stores.  BUT she needs your help.  If you could take a minute and vote for her products it would help her out a great deal.  Just click here, which will take you to the Walmart voting page.  Then all you have to do is click the big, orange Pretty Packaging Templates ‘Vote for This’ button.  That’s all there is to it.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi again folks!  If you’re here for the My Time Made Easy blog hop please scroll down to the next post.  Since today is the day the new Close To My Heart 2013 Fall/Winter Idea Book goes live, a few local consultants, including yours truly, decided to put on a blog hop showcasing the gorgeous, new paper packs that are being offered this season.  This first project shows off the whimsical Laughing Lola Paper Pack.Dream Big BagThis lovely, little bag was cut out using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, and embellished with some Laughing Lola Complements Dimensional Elements, and a few Laughing Lola Assortment pieces.  Oh ya, and the paisley cut out was stamped using the classy, sassy Paisley Perfect stamp set!

A touch of class cardThis card was crafted using some B&T papers from both the Laughing Lola and Sarita paper packs.  Again, I used the Laughing Lola Complements Dimensional Elements along with a few die cuts to embellish the card.  Those Elements really made assembling this card quick, and easy.  And speaking of die cuts, you absolutely must check out the new CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  WOW!  If you like making mini albums or scrapbook layouts, this cartridge is a must have.

My Time Made Easy August Release

Standard

Hello, and welcome to the August My Time Made Easy Release.  This month the extremely talented, and lovely owner of MTME, Lauren Meader, has decided to release 10 brand new templates!  WOW!  She has also just announced that WalMart is interested in her products, but she needs as many people as possible to visit her YouTube Channel, watch her video and leave a comment.  This will help the good folks at WalMart decide if there is enough interest out there to carry her line.  So please take a moment and help her out by leaving a favourable comment.

And now it’s time to get down to business.  It’s release day after all, and I have a few things to show you before you hopefully go on to check out the other great new templates on the blog hop.  This one is called Mix’er Up…Mix'er Up Gift BoxThis design was inspired by a drink mixer.  Lauren felt that the size would be perfect to fit those “taller” gifts like pump dispenser body products, soap dispensers, and of course drink mixes.  This template is great to package a variety of gifts that typically won’t fit in other boxes.  Or you could also just pile up the goodies!

To accompany this fabulous box, I created a matching Thank You card using the same digital designer paper (from Preserve It Blueberries and Grapes) and the Sensational Sentiments Digital Image set.Thank You Card

Please take a moment to hop around and enjoy the fantastic creations made by the rest of the team, if you haven’t already, and I’ll be back soon with another great new template to show off.  Happy crafting!

You may or may not know I just attended a Close To My Heart Consultant Convention at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida last weekend, and witnessed first hand the unveiling of the new Fall/Winter 2013 Idea Book.  Woohoo – always a much anticipated event!  With that unveiling, I was privy to the new products that will be available starting August 1st, so I thought it would be fun to give you a sneak peek too.Autumn/Winter Idea Book 2013

An exciting new product that is sure to be a hit for all you busy people is the My Crush Book.  Available in two designs, it’s small enough to fit in your purse (7″x10″) so you can scrapbook on the go.  Just stick in your memorabilia, photos and add a bit of journaling, then stick it back in your purse until the next memory opportunity strikes.  No paper trimmer required!Base and Bling Collage

Another new product for the jewelry lover is the base and bling assortment.  Create your own necklaces, headbands, rings and bracelets with our new fabrics and accessories.  If jewelry is not your thing, I saw some fabulous makes at convention using the bases as napkin rings, gift clips and other home décor items.

And now for the icing on the cake…..Artbooking Collage

A brand, spanking new Cricut Cartridge called Artbooking.  Let me tell you this is fabulous.  It offers 700 images including designs and cutouts for 10 mini albums and 15 themed layouts.  The best part is you can set your dial size to one number and it will cut everything in proportion.  No more guessing what size to cut something!  Is that  terrific or what?  I can’t wait to get mine!

I hope you enjoyed the CTMH Fall/Winter 2013 Idea Book sneak peek.  There are still a few surprises I didn’t share with you so be sure to get your copy.  Have a lovely day and happy crafting!

Standard

Hi gang!  Can you believe it’s the end of June already?  Summer is in full swing and it’s time to show off the new My Time Made Easy template called In-dipensible.

In-dispensible with polish set

I used my box to store some manicure/pedicure products, but you could just as easily fill this with a card gift set, office supplies, recipe cards or your favourite sweet treat.  The cut file is available in PDF, SVG, GSD, DXF and WPC formats and the completed box size is 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 to 1 1/4 inches deep (the box angle down at the front).  Wouldn’t this be cute dressed up as a desk for a teacher gift?In-dispensibleMy In-dispensible gift box is decorated using the brand new (and gorgeous) Pretty Petals digital paper pack.  I also used a sentiment and digital image from the new Just A Little Note Set of 19 Images, which I printed onto some acetate for the little window on top.

I hope you can check out what the other ladies have made for you.  Just click on the links below to visit their blogs.  Come back and join me for more My Time Made Easy fun tomorrow!

Out of a Hat Challenge #64 – A Tag Book

Standard

Happy Thursday!   Are you ready for another Out of a Hat challenge?  This week we are getting busy with a tag book.  I made mine for a baby girl, which I will give to her grandmother as a keepsake (and no, I am not the mother, lol!).Baby

The tags were cut out with my Cricut machine, and I embellished the front with a lot of pretty pink papers, buttons and trim from my stash.  My book contains 6 tag pages, but is held together by a metal loop closure, so more can be added if desired.Baby Girl

I love the little crocheted doily and fabric button – so soft and pretty!  To finish off the top, I added the seam binding ribbon, chocolate button and small, metal tag.

Thanks to all of you who joined in last week’s Out of a Hat Challenge.  We loved your ticket projects and can’t wait to see what you get up to for this week’s tag book challenge.  Please take a moment to see what Chrissie, Janet and Sandra have made for your viewing pleasure.  Happy crafting!

Girlie Handbags

Standard

Hi all!  My daughter was invited to a going away party for a classmate who is changing schools next year, so we thought it would be nice to give her and her sister a little something to remember us by…HandbagsWhat could be a better gift for two little girls than their very own handbags, complete with all the girlie things that go inside?  The handbag template is from My Time Made Easy and I used paper from the Close To My Heart Dream Pop paper pack.  The little pocket on the front hosts their first initial, and contains a tag with a personal message.Handbags

The front closure strap is held down by a piece of Velcro so they can open their handbags and access their goodies easily.  These are totally adorable, and I’m happy to report they were received with much enthusiasm!

Have a terrific weekend and I’ll be back real soon.  Happy crafting!

MTME Year In Review

Standard

Hi gang!  Well, I’m back again to share one of My Time Made Easy‘s older products for the Year In Review.  This is when I get to choose anything I want from the store and show it off – so fun!  There are so many gorgeous things to choose from, and so many possibilities that it is a difficult decision, but I went with a lovely little gift box called The Flapper. The FlapperThis gift box got it’s name because of the flap closure on the top.  On my sample, I have outlined it with pearls.  The flap ties shut with a ribbon, but you could just as easily add a small piece of Velcro underneath to keep it closed.

Thank You Card  The gorgeous floral paper used on both the card and the box is from the digital paper set called Blooming With Elegance.  This thank you card was super easy to make.  I imported the paper into my photo editing software, resized it to fit an A2 card and added the thank you sentiment from the Sensational Sentiments Digital Stamp Set.  These would be lovely as a set to give a teacher or colleague.

Feel free to visit the other gals on the DT to see more fabulous creations.  You can also visit our MTME Gallery for more inspiration.  Have a spectacular day and happy crafting!
