My Time Made Easy August Release

Standard

Hello, and welcome to the August My Time Made Easy Release.  This month the extremely talented, and lovely owner of MTME, Lauren Meader, has decided to release 10 brand new templates!  WOW!  She has also just announced that WalMart is interested in her products, but she needs as many people as possible to visit her YouTube Channel, watch her video and leave a comment.  This will help the good folks at WalMart decide if there is enough interest out there to carry her line.  So please take a moment and help her out by leaving a favourable comment.

And now it’s time to get down to business.  It’s release day after all, and I have a few things to show you before you hopefully go on to check out the other great new templates on the blog hop.  This one is called Mix’er Up…Mix'er Up Gift BoxThis design was inspired by a drink mixer.  Lauren felt that the size would be perfect to fit those “taller” gifts like pump dispenser body products, soap dispensers, and of course drink mixes.  This template is great to package a variety of gifts that typically won’t fit in other boxes.  Or you could also just pile up the goodies!

To accompany this fabulous box, I created a matching Thank You card using the same digital designer paper (from Preserve It Blueberries and Grapes) and the Sensational Sentiments Digital Image set.Thank You Card

Please take a moment to hop around and enjoy the fantastic creations made by the rest of the team, if you haven’t already, and I’ll be back soon with another great new template to show off.  Happy crafting!

Hi!  Today is My Time Made Easy‘s Year In Review.  That’s when we get to use older templates and products from the store and show them off.  This month, I wanted to share the Wonderful Watering Can template.  It is so darn cute and one of the first templates I bought before becoming a design team member.Wonderful Watering Can

Here I’ve embellished it with the Flutters and Flowers cut file and Petal Prints digital paper.  Isn’t that flower gorgeous?  And so easy to make!  Hope you have time to hop on over to visit the other ladies today.  They always have show stoppers!  Have a great day and happy crafting!

My Time Made Easy – July Release

Standard

Hello again.  Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians out there!  Hope you have plans to celebrate in style.  For today’s release, I am showing you a great little card set I made using the My Time Made Easy Simply Scalloped card and envelope cut file.Scallop Envelope and CardI thought it would be fun to make the envelopes out of vellum so you could see the card through the envelope.  As you can see in the picture, the envelope flap is scalloped.Simply Scalloped card

The front flap of the card is also scalloped along the bottom.  I added a piece of white cardstock to mine to show off the scallop a bit more.Simply Scalloped Card Set

I made a set of cards using the new Petal Prints Digital Paper along with the Just a Little Note Set of 19 Images.  I based the colours on the palette found in the paper pack, but because the image is digital, you could customize it to suit your own needs.

Time now to hop along and see what the other girls made for your viewing pleasure.  Have a funtastic day everyone!

MTME Year In Review

Standard

Hi gang!  Well, I’m back again to share one of My Time Made Easy‘s older products for the Year In Review.  This is when I get to choose anything I want from the store and show it off – so fun!  There are so many gorgeous things to choose from, and so many possibilities that it is a difficult decision, but I went with a lovely little gift box called The Flapper. The FlapperThis gift box got it’s name because of the flap closure on the top.  On my sample, I have outlined it with pearls.  The flap ties shut with a ribbon, but you could just as easily add a small piece of Velcro underneath to keep it closed.

Thank You Card  The gorgeous floral paper used on both the card and the box is from the digital paper set called Blooming With Elegance.  This thank you card was super easy to make.  I imported the paper into my photo editing software, resized it to fit an A2 card and added the thank you sentiment from the Sensational Sentiments Digital Stamp Set.  These would be lovely as a set to give a teacher or colleague.

Feel free to visit the other gals on the DT to see more fabulous creations.  You can also visit our MTME Gallery for more inspiration.  Have a spectacular day and happy crafting!

MTME June Release: Home Sweet Home

Standard

Hello and welcome back for the second round of My Time Made Easy‘s June Release.  Today I will be featuring images from 2 great new digital stamp sets called ‘Home Sweet Home’ and ‘There’s No Place Like Home’, as well as, some new digital papers from the ‘Tiny Town’ paper pack.Door card

This welcome card came together in a snap thanks to the wonderful door and wreath images included in the ‘There’s No Place Like Home’ digital stamp set.  All I had to do was resize the door and wreath in my photo editing software and then print them out on cardstock.  The wreath was coloured with Copic markers and cut out with scissors.  I popped it up with dimensional foam on the door.  The background is paper from the Tiny Town digital paper pack, which I printed onto a piece of ivory cardstock.  Voila! I have myself a gorgeous, handmade card for the new neighbours!Tall Gift Box

This tall gift box was cut out using the Wine & Dine cut file, and is perfect for a bottle of wine, balsamic vinegar or specialty olive oil.  I love the Tiny Town paper.  It’s perfect for the occasion!  I embellished the box with a keychain made using the Home Sweet Home digital stamp set and the Unlocked cut file.House Warming Combo

What a great way to impress the new neighbours or friends moving into a new house.  They will be blown away by the thoughtfulness of a stunning handmade gift!  Check out what the other ladies have made by clicking on the links below.  They are all very talented and have a lot of great ideas to share.  I’ll be back June 3rd with another fun project so stay tuned…

MTME May Year In Review – Sizzlin’ Summer Ideas

Standard

Welcome back!  I have the winner of the MTME May Sneak Peek contest!!  Drum roll please…………………….. and the lucky winner is…………. Sue D!!!  Congratulations, Sue.  You get your choice of any one of the templates in the My Time Made Easy shop!  I’ll send you an email with all the details so you can claim your prize.  Thanks to everyone who played along.

So now we move on to our Year In Review.  This is when we get to choose any MTME product and turn it into something completely different (some serious fun to be had here!).  I decided to stick with the BBQ grill template and add a travel theme to it by turning it into a travel trunk.  Check it out…Travel ChestImagine filling this with a bag of trail mix, a travel game, or even a pack of gum and some moisturizing facial wipes for someone travelling on a plane.  Of course, no gift is complete without a card, so I whipped up this little cutie pie using some digital paper from the Sweet & Sour Sweethearts Paper Pack, along with a sentiment from the Sentimental Occasions Digital Images set.

Happy Trails CardThis makes me wish I was boarding a plane for an adventure!  If you have a moment or two, take a cyber trip over to the other girls’ blogs to see what kind of new things they’ve made from something old.  And if you’d like a little more inspiration, you are always welcome to pop by the MTME Design Team Gallery for a peek.  Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!  ~Tracy

My Time Made Easy Blog Hop

Standard

Hello!  I hope you are all enjoying your week.  Can you believe it’s Thursday already?  Today is the last post showcasing My Time Made Easy‘s April Release products so sit back and enjoy!  I decided to use the shoe box template from the Match Your Bag Package to create this cute housewarming gift box.

Shoe Box TemplateThe shoe box measures 4″ x 5 1/2″ x 9″ so it is large enough to hold something substantial.  I created this box using the brick and grid papers from the Construction Materials Digital Paper, and I coloured, printed and cut out the house accessories using the Home Improvement/Shoppe Window Digital Stamp Set.  This was really a lot of fun to put together.Love Birds CardOf course, a gift isn’t complete without an accompanying card, so I created this cute little number to go with the housewarming gift box.  I used the same grid paper from the Construction Materials paper pack for the background and paired it up with this adorable Love Birds  digital image. Housewarming Gift  I hope you have time to check out what the rest of the design team has created for your viewing pleasure.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

My Time Made Easy March Project Inspiration

Standard

Hi folks!  I’m back with a couple of new projects I made with some of My Time Made Easy‘s new products.  I’ve always had a special place in my heart for 3D paper crafts so this was a lot of fun to make.  Here I’m showcasing the new Egg-stra Special Template, which is fabulous for Easter.Eggstra SpecialIsn’t he cute?  It was so fun putting him together and my daughter hasn’t stopped playing with it since I made it!  As you can see, you can create your own Easter or bird’s egg.  You can design this to look like a bunny, a chickie (like mine), a bird, owl, or anything that has a oval body! A little creativity will go a LONG way.  The bottom could be used on its own to create a “basket”, or the top could be used to create a bee hive!Eggstra SpecialThis template can hold gifts for Easter, a new baby or mom to be, a plush toy, stuffed animal, candy, homemade treats of any kind, jars of jam, egg decorating kit/items, games, soup or dip mixes, baking items…to name a few.  Whatever you decide to enclose in this fun template is sure to feel Egg-stra Special!

This next project uses the Bag-sket Template, Spring Has Sprung digital paper pack, Egg Decorating digital stamp and the Some Punny Easter digital stamp set.Bagsket & Egg Decorating CardThe beauty of these products is you don’t need a lot of expensive software or a personal cutting machine to make them.  I usually use a Cricut to cut out my stuff, but there are times when I just print out the pdf file and cut it by hand.  The above picture also shows the images coloured by yours truly.  Colouring, using digital photo editing software, is sometimes fun and convenient, but I LOVE to colour and often do it myself.

Whether you want a “bag”, or a card, this sweet little “bag-sket” is a great two for the price of one, cut file. Now you can have a super cute basket shaped card, OR a fun little treat bag, designed to look like a basket. Perfect for Easter, Spring, Mother’s Day, or whenever!

Please do take a minute to check out what the other DT members have worked so hard to create for you by clicking on the links below.  Hope you’re having a great weekend!  Happy crafting.  ~Tracy

Pawsitively Purrfect!

Standard

Good day all!  Today is Thursday and it’s time for the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge #80.  We have a lovely colour palette today…MTMEPPC80This could be a really great palette for a winter card or a masculine project but today my card is all about kitty cats!Paws-itively PurrfectFriends of mine went away to Florida for a week and asked me to watch their cats while they were gone.  This got me to thinking about a thank you card for a pet sitter.  My Time Made Easy made it even easier with the Pawsitively Pampered Pet Collection.Pawsitively PurrfectThis is a super cute set that contains digital papers, images and sentiments, as well as a cut file to make a doggy bone shaped container.  How cute would that be as a gift (filled with people treats, of course!)?

So I hope you are inspired to play along with the challenge this week.  You can also check out the My Time Made Easy store, which has oodles of great projects and gift ideas.  Can’t wait to see what you come up with.  Have a crafty day!

So are you ready to get crafty, because once again it’s time for the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge, and this week’s colours are…MTMEPPC78Since New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, I was inspired to make a card for the occasion.  I started off with one of the Pretty Pattern sketches from last week’s MTME challenge post, and used a couple of the patterned papers from the MTME Table For Two digital paper pack.Happy New YearThe sentiment is from the Christmas Swag digital stamp collection.  To add some festive fun, I cut out the word happy with my Cricut, ran it through my Xyron machine and added the burgundy glitter to it.  Glitter always makes things more festive don’t you think?Happy

So are you up for a challenge?  Why not use some of that new stash you got for Christmas and play along?  You can use the palette on ANY type of project!  While participation with products from My Time Made Easy ™ LLC is appreciated, it is not required to participate. You can use products from ANY company.

Every other week we will pick a winner from the palette participants, and announce them the following week, when the next Pretty Palette Challenge is announced.  This month’s contest began Thursday, November 29th. Contest ends Wednesday, January 23rd. Winner announced Thursday, January 24th.
