A Few Cards

Standard

Hi there!  I have a few cards to show you today, which use some new and old Close To My Heart products.  The first card is for my neighbour, who is moving next week.  She’s been in the neighbourhood for about 7 years, but is getting remarried, so has to move to a bigger house to accomodate a blended family.  You’ll be missed Angie!Goodbye & Good LuckI will enter this one into the Out of a Hat Challenge this week.  The theme is the letter B.  Since I have buildings on my card, I thought it would fit right in!  The stamp set I used is called Cityscape and is in the new CTMH 2013 Autumn/Winter Idea Book.

My next card is a birthday card I made for my daughter’s friend, who is turning the ripe old age of 5!  I suppose since the next two cards are birthday cards, they qualify for the OOAH theme as well:)Treat Birthday CardThis card uses paper from the Dream Pop paper pack and a stamp from the December Stamp of the Month.  Perfect for a child’s birthday card!  The rest of the embellishments are rub ons, which I’ve had in my stash for quite some time.

And last but not least, here is a boy birthday card, which makes use of the new White Daisy Circle Spin Card Set.  One side of the circle says Happy Birthday and the other side of the circle has the number 5 for the age of the birthday boy.Super Hero Card

Super Hero CardI hope you have a terrific week.  See you back here real soon.  Until then happy crafting!

One last exciting bit of news… the very talented and hard working owner of My Time Made Easy, Lauren Meader, has a chance to have her products carried in Walmart stores.  BUT she needs your help.  If you could take a minute and vote for her products it would help her out a great deal.  Just click here, which will take you to the Walmart voting page.  Then all you have to do is click the big, orange Pretty Packaging Templates ‘Vote for This’ button.  That’s all there is to it.

Have a great day everyone!

My Time Made Easy Release – In A Cinch

Standard

Hi everyone.  I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Today is Day 4 of the My Time Made Easy August Release Extravaganza!  The new template called In A Cinch is the highlight of today’s hop.  Check it out…In a Cinch Butterfly Top

Here I am showcasing the butterfly box top, but this fabulous template comes with 4 different box top options!  Box tops include a plain rounded top, a star, a flower and a butterfly.  Each box is unique with its own designer top closure, that offers you a ton of versatility and is a cinch to put together!  The rounded top allows you to add whatever you wish to the top of the box from a circle image, to large buttons, or customize it with any image or shape to suit your occasion.

Flower CardI paired up this gorgeous, little box with the lovely Fanciful Flower Card template.  This cut file includes the card, and the decorative pieces. So easy to make and pretty to boot. In a Cinch Butterfly

Close To My Heart Blog Hop

Standard

Hi again folks!  If you’re here for the My Time Made Easy blog hop please scroll down to the next post.  Since today is the day the new Close To My Heart 2013 Fall/Winter Idea Book goes live, a few local consultants, including yours truly, decided to put on a blog hop showcasing the gorgeous, new paper packs that are being offered this season.  This first project shows off the whimsical Laughing Lola Paper Pack.Dream Big BagThis lovely, little bag was cut out using the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, and embellished with some Laughing Lola Complements Dimensional Elements, and a few Laughing Lola Assortment pieces.  Oh ya, and the paisley cut out was stamped using the classy, sassy Paisley Perfect stamp set!

A touch of class cardThis card was crafted using some B&T papers from both the Laughing Lola and Sarita paper packs.  Again, I used the Laughing Lola Complements Dimensional Elements along with a few die cuts to embellish the card.  Those Elements really made assembling this card quick, and easy.  And speaking of die cuts, you absolutely must check out the new CTMH Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  WOW!  If you like making mini albums or scrapbook layouts, this cartridge is a must have.

So, hop on over and visit the other girls for more CTMH paper pack peaks, and great creative ideas.  Have a great day everyone, and happy crafting!

My Time Made Easy August Release

Standard

Hello, and welcome to the August My Time Made Easy Release.  This month the extremely talented, and lovely owner of MTME, Lauren Meader, has decided to release 10 brand new templates!  WOW!  She has also just announced that WalMart is interested in her products, but she needs as many people as possible to visit her YouTube Channel, watch her video and leave a comment.  This will help the good folks at WalMart decide if there is enough interest out there to carry her line.  So please take a moment and help her out by leaving a favourable comment.

And now it’s time to get down to business.  It’s release day after all, and I have a few things to show you before you hopefully go on to check out the other great new templates on the blog hop.  This one is called Mix’er Up…Mix'er Up Gift BoxThis design was inspired by a drink mixer.  Lauren felt that the size would be perfect to fit those “taller” gifts like pump dispenser body products, soap dispensers, and of course drink mixes.  This template is great to package a variety of gifts that typically won’t fit in other boxes.  Or you could also just pile up the goodies!

To accompany this fabulous box, I created a matching Thank You card using the same digital designer paper (from Preserve It Blueberries and Grapes) and the Sensational Sentiments Digital Image set.Thank You Card

Please take a moment to hop around and enjoy the fantastic creations made by the rest of the team, if you haven’t already, and I’ll be back soon with another great new template to show off.  Happy crafting!
