Close To My Heart New Products

Standard

Hi everyone!  Happy 4th of July to all my American friends.  I hope you’re whooping it up wherever you are.  I will be celebrating at Disney’s Magic Kingdom along with my family.  We’re very excited!

You may or may not know I just attended a Close To My Heart Consultant Convention at Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida last weekend, and witnessed first hand the unveiling of the new Fall/Winter 2013 Idea Book.  Woohoo – always a much anticipated event!  With that unveiling, I was privy to the new products that will be available starting August 1st, so I thought it would be fun to give you a sneak peek too.Autumn/Winter Idea Book 2013

Here is the cover of the new Fall/Winter 2013 Idea Book.  I know you are anxiously awaiting the chance to run your fingers over the glossy pages.  I should have my shipment within the next week or so 🙂WOTG Collage 1

Six new paper packs and Workshops On The Go.  Here are samples of Babycakes, Frosted, Huntington…WOTG Collage 2…Laughing Lola, Pro Player and Sarita!Card WOTG

CTMH will also be offering two new Card Workshops On The Go based on the Frosted and Laughing Lola paper packs.Frames Collage

Here we see two new frames that can be decorated and used as home décor.  One of these photos features the August Stamp of the Month.  Can you guess which one?  It’s sure to hit a sweet spot!My Crush Collage

An exciting new product that is sure to be a hit for all you busy people is the My Crush Book.  Available in two designs, it’s small enough to fit in your purse (7″x10″) so you can scrapbook on the go.  Just stick in your memorabilia, photos and add a bit of journaling, then stick it back in your purse until the next memory opportunity strikes.  No paper trimmer required!Base and Bling Collage

Another new product for the jewelry lover is the base and bling assortment.  Create your own necklaces, headbands, rings and bracelets with our new fabrics and accessories.  If jewelry is not your thing, I saw some fabulous makes at convention using the bases as napkin rings, gift clips and other home décor items.

And now for the icing on the cake…..Artbooking Collage

A brand, spanking new Cricut Cartridge called Artbooking.  Let me tell you this is fabulous.  It offers 700 images including designs and cutouts for 10 mini albums and 15 themed layouts.  The best part is you can set your dial size to one number and it will cut everything in proportion.  No more guessing what size to cut something!  Is that  terrific or what?  I can’t wait to get mine!

I hope you enjoyed the CTMH Fall/Winter 2013 Idea Book sneak peek.  There are still a few surprises I didn’t share with you so be sure to get your copy.  Have a lovely day and happy crafting!

Standard

Hi!  Today is My Time Made Easy‘s Year In Review.  That’s when we get to use older templates and products from the store and show them off.  This month, I wanted to share the Wonderful Watering Can template.  It is so darn cute and one of the first templates I bought before becoming a design team member.Wonderful Watering Can

Here I’ve embellished it with the Flutters and Flowers cut file and Petal Prints digital paper.  Isn’t that flower gorgeous?  And so easy to make!  Hope you have time to hop on over to visit the other ladies today.  They always have show stoppers!  Have a great day and happy crafting!

My Time Made Easy – July Release

Standard

Hello again.  Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians out there!  Hope you have plans to celebrate in style.  For today’s release, I am showing you a great little card set I made using the My Time Made Easy Simply Scalloped card and envelope cut file.Scallop Envelope and CardI thought it would be fun to make the envelopes out of vellum so you could see the card through the envelope.  As you can see in the picture, the envelope flap is scalloped.Simply Scalloped card

The front flap of the card is also scalloped along the bottom.  I added a piece of white cardstock to mine to show off the scallop a bit more.Simply Scalloped Card Set

I made a set of cards using the new Petal Prints Digital Paper along with the Just a Little Note Set of 19 Images.  I based the colours on the palette found in the paper pack, but because the image is digital, you could customize it to suit your own needs.

Time now to hop along and see what the other girls made for your viewing pleasure.  Have a funtastic day everyone!
